One Drop
I took a sip of water. It was ice cold and good. It quenched my thirst. Thirsty, I knew it would. Marveling at the benefits, I took another drink. One drop of water, Mu body’s back in sync. |

I saw it there, alone and lost. Why was it there? Why was it lost? White, pristine, looking quite refined. It was waiting on me, to be mine. I picked it up, dusted it off. I flipped it over, dusted it off. It was a beautiful barrette. This is one thing I won’t forget. |
I have something in my throat. It’s irritating. I feel like I am about to choke. I can’t swallow good. It needs to leave, I wish it would. Perhaps it’s the fish from last night. Whatever it is, it doesn’t feel right. There is something in my throat. I wonder if it is worth a groat. |

Sometimes, life can get complicated. The only thing constant in some times, is Christ. I am glad that I know Him. |
